Jake, “I first got into photography as a kid, bringing a disposable camera to summer camp in Nebraska. Those colorful sunsets sparked my curiosity about capturing the world around me — and the mountains of Colorado sealed the deal.
I studied Broadcasting Production at the University of Nebraska, where I learned the technical side of storytelling — shooting with DSLR and film cameras, and editing with Photoshop and Lightroom. Along the way, I created a YouTube video that’s reached nearly two million views (and counting). That’s when I knew it was time to get my own gear — a camera, a drone, and a GoPro — and start shooting everything I could.
I moved to Colorado and joined Beaver Creek as an outdoor photographer, capturing action shots in the snow and portraits for guests — from large groups to surprise engagements. Those experiences taught me how to adapt, connect, and find great light in every condition.
I live in Olympia, WA with my wife, Jenni, and our two dogs, Penelope Von Woof Woof and Daisy Apple Pie. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find us snowboarding, hiking, climbing, camping, or Fishing — basically anything outdoors.
I’d love to be your photographer. Whatever the setting, I’m always up for an adventure and ready to find the most creative shot possible.”

Jenni, “I grew up in Colorado, surrounded by wide-open landscapes and dramatic seasons. Those early experiences shaped how I see the world and sparked my love for color and creative expression. Painting became my way of slowing down and translating those moments into something tangible.
My work balances intention with intuition, allowing each piece to evolve organically through layered brushstrokes and thoughtful composition. I’m inspired by nature, quiet moments, and the feeling of being fully present in a place. I want my paintings to invite people to pause, reflect, and connect.
Now based in Olympia, Washington, I continue to draw inspiration from the outdoors — hiking, camping, and exploring alongside Jake and our two dogs, Penelope Von Woof Woof and Daisy Apple Pie. The contrast between Colorado’s rugged landscapes and the softer tones of the Pacific Northwest continues to influence my work in subtle ways.
I believe art should feel personal and lived-in, something that brings warmth, depth, and a sense of calm into the spaces it inhabits.”
